I've been called a tree hugger many, many times but I just recently started really hugging trees. It's part of my need to calm my crazy, zooming, whirling, spinning brain. When you hug a tree and really listen and feel and concentrate on the energy, it's so meditative. I feel the sway working it's way from the top to the bottom. I smell the freshness. I sense the calm energy flowing and it calms my brain. Have you ever REALLY hugged a tree? If not, you should try it. It's good stuff.
