So much fun...Today I got to ride Shoot n' Roll in the Seattle 1/2 Marathon. Yes, I was signed up to run it but had to grab the opportunity to ride the bike and take pics of it every step of the way (and flip video, of course). The Seattle Marathon people were nice enough to grant permission (knowing of course that I COULD run it if I wanted to, lol) to let me "cover" the marathon by riding my Purple Pedal bike. Here are some highlights...(for more videos of the ride, check out my YouTube page)
AND here are the pics the bike took along the way!
I made a big sticker for ZoomAlbum and Smilebox for the side of the bike...stay tuned for the ZoomAlbum photobooks and Smilebox slideshows I'm gonna make of this and future rides!
For more info on Yahoo's Purple Pedals and to see what the other bikes are up to, go to www.purplepedals.com or www.flickr.com/groups/5purplepedals.
Btw, looks like they're going to let me keep it for longer. Comment and let me know if there's something here in Washington you'd like to see and I'll ride to it for you! :)
Ok, I really promise that this is the last post that I'll talk about soccer (at least until next season). A few days ago, I posted a video of how to pull the pictures into the ZoomAlbum software. Here is my 9 year old daughter putting the book together. (Maybe we should have her demo on HSN or Scrapbook Memories!) Please excuse her brother's noises and Star Wars in the background. Just a usual busy evening at our house...
Here are a couple of pictures of the finished product...
Okay...I promise soccer is almost over. It seems like I've been talking about soccer A LOT, but when you have practices and games with 2 kids 4 says/week, it kind of takes over your life! I was making a ZoomAlbum for the coach gift and thought, "WAIT, I should record this so people can see ME going through the software steps so they believe me when I say it is SIMPLE. So...that's what I did here...
Here's my SmileboxZoomAlbum I made of my son and daughter's soccer experience so far. I added a smilebox slide show I made so you can see how well these 2 programs work together. Please watch the video (but please, no comments about the lack of shower, that's what hats are for, lol) and don't forget to tell me your ZoomAlbum story...
